Submission

To upload an abstract/paper, you need to register as the author and login to the website of the conference system.

Guidelines for submission of abstracts (400-600 words)

In order to upload an abstract LOG IN, go to USER HOME and Start New Submission for an abstract. Submission process consists of five steps: Start, Entering metadata, Uploading submission file, Uploading supplementary files and Confirmation.

The conference is constituted by sections:

  • Developmental psychology
  • Gifted education in education settings: higher, secondary, basic, primary levels
  • Politics of gifted education
  • Support/ advocacy for gifted
  • Talent managment  
  • Teaching science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to gifted students
  • Training of teachers for gifted education

You are welcome to apply to a particular section with an abstract. The authors are requested to submit the abstract (not exceeding one page) ready for publishing by September 20, 2015 by registering as the author and login to the website of the conference system or by E-mail  gifted@ktu.lt as an attached file. Abstract should include purpose, methodology results, theoretical contribution, practical implications (if applicable) of the research. Abstracts should be in MS Word format and prepared according to GIFTED-2015 Abstract template. Authors commit to prepare the paper strictly following the formatting and content guidelines provided in the template. There is a limit of 400-600 words for each abstract. All authors of accepted abstracts are invited to conference event and prepare papers based on abstracts.

Guidelines for submission of regular papers (4-8 pages)

In order to upload a paper LOG IN, go to USER HOME and Start New Submission for a paper. (Please select Articles section).

The selected papers presented at the conference will be considered for peer-reviewed publication in a special issue ”Gifted Children: Challenges and Possibilities”, ISSN 2029-1108. This issue will be sent for indexing within Leading Science Databases. Regular paper must be provided in the GIFTED-2015 Regular Paper template. Authors commit to prepare the paper strictly following the formatting and content guidelines provided in the template. The papers are evaluated by two reviewers.

Publishing

1. Book of Abstracts

All accepted abstracts will be published online and in the conference abstract book.

2. Conference Proceedings

All papers presented at the conference GIFTED 2015 will be published in the conference proceedings CD.

3. Special issue “Gifted Children: Challenges and Possibilities”

Selected papers presented at the conference GIFTED 2015 will be considered for peer-reviewed publication in a special issue ”Gifted Children: Challenges and Possibilities”, ISSN 2029-1108. This issue will be sent for indexing within Leading Science Databases.
